In the
figures no
transverse reinforcement is
plotted.
The
transverse
reinforcement
as required
by EN
1992-1-1 shall
be
present.
Only tension forces in the direction of the bar axis may be transmitted by the tension anchor HZA-R.
The tension force must be transferred via an overlap joint to the reinforcement in the building part.
The transmission of the shear load shall be ensured by appropriate additional measures, e.g. by shear lugs or by anchors
with a European technical approval (ETA).
In the anchor plate, the holes for the tension anchor shall be executed as elongated holes with the axis in the direction of
the shear force.
